Mouni Roy is an Indian actress who is famous on television. She is best known for her roles of Goddess Sati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and as Krishna Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She was seen in the Colors popular series Naagin. Currently, she is seen in Naagin 2 which airs on Colors.
Mouni Roy was born on 28 September 1985 into a middle-class Bengali family in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Her father, Anil Roy is the office superintendent and her mother Mukti Roy is a high school teacher. She got the genealogy of acting from her paternal grandfather Shekhar Chandra Roy who was a well-known theater artist. She has a younger brother named Mukhar Roy. Mouni turned herself into a choreographer during her college days. Being a trained kathak dancer, she has also learnt many other dance forms. Thus she has been commended for her excellent dancing skills.
